UVA medical students honor friend’s legacy by raising awareness about rare heart condition

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – A group of UVA medical students is turning personal tragedy into a mission to help save lives across Charlottesville.

Friends, family members, classmates, and supporters gathered last weekend at UVA for a benefit honoring Brennan Cullimore, a UVA medical student remembered not only for the way he died, but for the life he lived.
