Grand Jurors sitting Monday in Madison County heard prosecutorial evidence before returning true bills against three area men.
Sharod Edvian Kilby, 45, of Barboursville – Direct indictment for three felonies allegedly occurring on July 17, 2025: Using a computer to embezzle money; Identity theft causing a loss of $1,000 or more; and Obtaining money under false pretense. Kilby also received a true bill for unauthorized use of a vehicle valued at $1,000 or more on July 29. A capias was issued by Presiding Judge David B. Franzen on Wednesday and Kilby’s scheduled for a status hearing and attorney arrangements on June 3. He’s currently being held at Central Virginia Regional Jail in Orange.
Jesse Allen Woodson III, 36, of Madison – Felony assault and battery of a family member, third or subsequent offense that allegedly occurred on February 2. Judge Franzen appointed Culpeper attorney Kirk T. Milam to represent Woodson with a scheduled arraignment set for May 20…
