Frances X. McGuigan, MD, of Greene County received a 2026 River Steward award from Bryan Hofmann, deputy director of Friends of the Rappahannock (FOR) Wednesday evening at Mountain Run winery in Culpeper.
The annual upper watershed awards program recognizes area landowners, teachers and other community members for assisting FOR in their restoration, education and advocacy work.
