Tennessee says NOVONIX delivered 85 of 290 jobs, triggering full FastTrack grant clawback

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Tennessee officials are demanding that NOVONIX repay a $3 million economic development grant, saying the company fell far short of a job-creation target tied to the deal.

In a June 11 letter, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development said the company committed to create 290 jobs under a FastTrack grant agreement connected to its Chattanooga facility.
