The City of Chickamauga is asking residents with storm-damaged trees on their property to contact City Hall and request a work order for debris removal as cleanup efforts continue following this week’s severe storms.
City officials said residents should cut fallen trees into sections between six and eight feet long and place them in a safe location near the roadway. Once the debris is ready for pickup, residents should contact City Hall to be added to the removal list.
Officials cautioned that it may take a couple of weeks for crews to reach all locations due to the large number of requests generated by storm damage across the city…
