Four-star Gen. B.B. Bell, Oak Ridge native, backs Rose for governor

Oak Ridge native and four-star Gen. B.B. Bell of Chattanooga has endorsed John Rose to be the next governor of Tennessee.

Bell was raised in Oak Ridge, where his father worked on the Manhattan Project. Among his many accomplishments, Bell is a former commander of all U.S. and Allied Forces in Korea; as well as the U.S. Army in Europe; and NATO’s Land Component Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany.

“John Rose is a passionate entrepreneur and highly successful business chief executive officer who has embraced the American dream. Believe me, he knows how to build and run large organizations with compassion, and he’ll do the same thing for our state,” Bell said in a statement released by the Rose campaign…
