CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A major piece of Chattanooga’s riverfront makeover just received a $10 million boost.
BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee announced it is committing $10 million to help transform Ross’s Landing as part of the Riverfront Parks NEXT redevelopment plan.
The investment makes the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation the largest private contributor to the project.
Plans for the redesigned riverfront include:
- Sports courts beneath the Olgiati Bridge
- A nature-themed, ADA-accessible playscape
- New installations along the Chattanooga Pier
- Gathering spaces, seating areas and walking trails
