MCMINN COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – A man has been taken into custody after a shooting critically injured one person on Friday, according to McMinn County Sheriff Joe Guy.

Guy said the shooting happened Friday afternoon at a home on County Road 435 near Englewood Road, which resulted in one person being injured and taken to a Chattanooga hospital in critical condition.
