CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — After years of working alongside Chattanooga police officers, two members of the department’s K9 unit are retiring: one after a decorated decade on the job and another after showing he was better suited for life as a family companion.
K9 Burt, an 11-year-old Belgian Malinois, retired after 10 years of service with CPD.
