Chattanooga Public Works adds crews to speed up brush pickup amid seasonal delays

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga Public Works officials say residents should expect continued delays in brush collection as crews work through a seasonal surge in demand, compounded by increased commercial dumping and staffing shortages.

To speed up progress, the City of Chattanooga Department of Public Works will begin supplementing internal crews starting Friday, Aug. 14th.
