CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga has entered a new five-year agreement with Axon Enterprise for public safety technology, but one city councilman wants more discussion before the city adds another kind of camera to its streets.
District 4 Councilman Cody Harvey raised concerns Tuesday about additional license plate readers included as an option under the city’s agreement with Axon.
“In my opinion, I think we need to pump the brakes a little bit on these and listen to folks’ concerns before we go full steam ahead,” Harvey said.
