Employees at Goodwill heard whimpers within wall of building that turned out to be dog trapped deep in concrete drain

For days, employees at the Goodwill Donation Center on Dodds Avenue in the City of Chattanooga, had heard cries and whimpers emanating somewhere deep within the lower wall of the building. The plaintive cries had been coming from a very sweet dog who had fallen into a drainage pipe and had become trapped in a concrete area inaccessible to rescuers.

On Tuesday, October 3, the City of Chattanooga’s Public Works Department and the McKamey Animal Center(MAC) worked together to chip away the surrounding concrete enabling access to the trapped pooch…
