Save the date: Tennessee Wildlife Federation Town Hall Tour, Nov. 12, 2026

CHATTANOOGA — The Tennessee Wildlife Federation (TWF) has been taking its Town Hall Tour across the state for several months. Perhaps they saved the best for last, as the final stop on the tour is coming to Chattanooga on Thursday, Nov. 12. The TWF is encouraging outdoor enthusiasts from across the region to join them for a conversation about the issues affecting Tennessee’s wildlife, habitat and outdoor traditions.

The meeting will be held at the Highland Sportsman Club at 1028 Camp Tsatanuga Rd., Hixson, TN 37343. Doors for the 6:30 p.m. meeting will open at 6 p.m. However, participants are invited to arrive early and take advantage of the Highland Sportsman Club shooting ranges, which will be available beginning at 3 p.m. Guests can try their hand at 5-stand, trap and skeet. The price per round of 25 targets will be $5. Shooters should bring their firearms, ammunition, and eye and ear protection. 12-gauge ammunition will be available for purchase.

TWF will discuss key policy issues, and representatives from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will provide updates on topics relevant to the Chattanooga area. The event will close with a panel discussion featuring the speakers, during which attendees can submit questions. Door prizes will also be awarded, including a fishing trip through Scenic City Fishing Charters, a limited-edition Tennessee Wildlife Federation YETI tumbler, and a drawing for a grand prize package that includes a $500 gift card to Drake Waterfowl, a Tethrd tree saddle, and more.

The keynote speaker will be Dennis Tumlin, Chief Customer Officer for the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. His presentation will address the Tennessee River, water resources, fisheries, boating access, tourism and the outdoor economy…
