Tennessee Woman Who Allegedly Shot a Mom of Three in the Head in Front of Her Kids Charged Years After Incident

The victim picked the alleged shooter, Briana Gilmore, out of a six-person lineup in April 2022

Nearly two years after a Memphis mother identified the person who shot her in front of her three small children, police arrested the woman and charged her with attempted first-degree murder, according to reports.

Police say Briana Gilmore, 22, shot the woman on March 28, 2022, after the two got into a fight in the parking lot of an apartment building, Action News 5 reported.

Gilmore, who was arrested Thursday, and the unidentified victim were arguing beside the woman’s car, where her three children were sitting — a 4-year-old, a 3-year-old and a 2-month-old baby.

Gilmore pulled out a gun at one point and shot the mother of three in her head.

First responders found the victims lying next to the car with her children inside, the report said.

Witnesses to the shooting led police to identify Gilmore as a suspect.

The victim was able to identify Gilmore as her shooter from a six-person lineup on April 4, 2022, ABC 24 reported.
