Clouds are increasing from the southwest this morning, so expect a mostly cloudy and cooler day with highs in the mid 50s. Light rain showers will move in this afternoon from southwest to northeast with the best chance for widespread steady rain staying south of Chattanooga. If we do see a few showers in Chattanooga, it wouldn’t be until this evening and tonight. Areas north of Chattanooga should remain dry today.
