CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Alzheimer is a scary enough for a loved one going through it, but it is also a scary time for the person who is having to care for that loved one with Alzheimer. A new study from “America’s Unseen Workforce: The Struggles and Silver Linings of Family Caregivers” suggests that nearly half (47 percent) of the caregivers for some one with Alzheimer reported that “they feel like they’re drowning and unprepared for the role” of caregiver.
