The Cincinnati Reds Double-A affiliate is hoping to make a stadium change.
The Chattanooga Lookouts are planning on building a new stadium. They currently play at AT&T Field, which holds roughly 6,400 spectators. The new ballpark would allow at least 9,000 patrons for baseball games or other events.
The $120 million proposal will go to a vote on February 14th, as there have been speculations that the Hamilton County mayor and a county commissioner are not exactly seeing eye-to-eye about the ballpark.
Although a complete deal hasn’t been signed, there’s optimism that something should get completed soon. The team has had many talented players play for them, including Elly De La Cruz, Andrew Abbott and Noelvi Marte.
