Applying for college can get expensive after so many application fees, but Tennessee’s free college application week is here to help.
According to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga , “TN College Application & Exploration Month is a September initiative of the Tennessee Higher Education Commission intended to build excitement and knowledge around the college application process and provide graduating high school seniors with more opportunities to apply to college.”
While many schools in Tennessee already have free applications year-round, some of the larger institutions take part in free application week to lessen the burden of application fees. The week lasts from Sept. 16 to Sept. 20, but a few schools are extending the free application period.
