Employees of Cash Express in Tracy City spent last Wednesday delivering cupcakes to local first responders to honor the sacrifices local rescue and law enforcement agencies make each day and to remember those who lost their lives during the Sept. 11 attacks. In total, approximately 540 cupcakes were distributed to 17 sites: Grundy County mayor, police, fire and EMS departments, Tracy City police and fire departments, Monteagle police and fire departments, E-911 dispatch, Sewanee police, fire and hospital, and volunteer fire departments in Coalmont, Altamont, Gruetli-Laager, Pelham and Beersheba Springs.
