The City of Chattanooga has announced its application for funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s PRO Housing Grant Program

Chattanooga, TN – According to the city officials, this initiative aims to support efforts to eliminate barriers to affordable housing and broaden housing opportunities for residents across the city.

As part of the application process, the City is ensuring transparency and encouraging public involvement. Residents are invited to review the grant application and provide feedback during a designated public comment period.

The HUD PRO Housing Grant application will be open to Saturday, October 12, 2024.

During this time, community members are encouraged to share their input, insights, and suggestions regarding the proposed plan.

Additionally, the City of Chattanooga’s Department of Economic Development will host a public meeting at the Carver Community Center, located at 600 N Orchard Knob Avenue, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where residents can ask questions and provide feedback in person.
