The Tracy City Council on Tuesday gave unanimous support to Mayor Nancy Young’s proposal to create a wall with the portraits of all of Tracy’s mayors since 1910. Mayor’s office intern Shivani Shibu, a junior at Kimball High, helped Young with the research at Tracy Historical Museum, tracking down the names and portraits of individuals who served as presidents of the city’s board of trustees during Tracy’s early years, as well as mayors who were selected by fellow council members and the directly-elected mayors of the modern era.
