State troopers respond to nearly 200 crashes, 2 of them fatal, during winter storm in TN

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to nearly 200 crashes during the midweek winter storm, according to the Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security.

From Feb. 18-19, troopers responded to 195 crashes, assisted 289 stranded motorists, and addressed 45 abandoned vehicles and 14 roadway obstructions.
