CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Two men are wanted after they were seen removing 3 bronze plaques that pay tribute to Chattanooga’s Civil War history at the northern end of Missionary Ridge.
The theft happened at about midnight on Sunday at the Sherman Reservation, at 2419 North Crest Road, according to a post on the Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park Facebook page.
That post says the 2 men were driving a late-90s/early 00s model Ford F-150, extended cab, green in color with a two-tone gray stripe on the bottom quarter of the vehicle. The driver’s side front wheel does not match the other wheels…
