BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WKRN) — A traffic stop in Chattanooga Friday resulted in the arrests of three suspects in Middle Tennessee burglaries, authorities said.
According to the Brentwood Police Department, detectives noticed last week that a burglary in the Witherspoon subdivision was consistent with other recent burglaries in Brentwood and Nashville. A joint investigation with the Metro Nashville Police Department and other law enforcement agencies led to the identification of suspects associated with the incidents.

Officials said a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper stopped a vehicle in Chattanooga on Friday, May 23. Three men inside the vehicle allegedly provided false Peruvian identification to the trooper.
A search of the vehicle reportedly led to the discovery of burglary tools and clothing consistent with a Brentwood burglary and recent burglary attempts in Brentwood and Nashville, as well as suspected stolen jewelry.
