On Sunday, Haletown Fire and Rescue responded to Hancock Rd with multiple trees down. Upon arrival, firemen encountered several trees down. Working towards East Valley Rd, they cleared the road, while SVEC restored power. Haletown Fire and Rescue then began clearing East Valley Rd and Pleasant Grove Rd. of trees and debris. The area had heavy damage, with multiple trees falling through homes and vehicles.
The Marion County Highway Department reported that several areas around the county had downed trees on roadways, but by 10 p.m., the department said all had been cleared.
