East Ridge firefighters free frightened feline, find it a fur-ever home

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. — Firefighters in East Ridge freed a frightened feline from under the hood of a vehicle, and for the kitten and one of those firefighters, it was the beginning of a relationship that’ll last fur-ever.

The rescue happened over Memorial Day weekend.

It all started when a motorist reported “strange noises coming under the hood,” according to a post on the City of East Ridge’s Facebook page…
