State rests after parents, victims share toll of abuse from former Chattanooga teacher

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The prosecution in the trial of a former teacher in Chattanooga charged with committing crimes against several children while in class has now rested.

That came after more parents and experts testified Monday in the trial of former Chattanooga teacher Duane Sanders, who faces 19 criminal counts involving sexual abuse of children.
