McNabb extends lead at 30th East Tennessee Amateur

ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) – Bennett McNabb (Chattanooga) followed up his seven-under (65) on Friday with an eight-under (64) showing on Saturday, extending his lead to four strokes at the 30th William B. Greene Jr. East Tennessee Amateur.

McNabb carded three birdies and an eagles over the final five holes to stretch his lead. It’s the second day in a row he needed just two shots on hole No. 18.

The other golfers in his group – Lucas Armstrong (Church Hill) and Brandon Worley (Kingsport) – both finished shot six-under (66) on Saturday. They sit tied-second at eleven-under.
