Nearby residents share concerns about construction near I-24 exit ramp in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — An 8-week construction project along I-24 in Chattanooga has a ramp closed for the duration and nearby residents concerned.

The project is to build a wall that has noise-cancelling properties, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) announced on Monday.

This is happening at the Germantown Road entrance ramp on I-24 west.
