Harrison resident donates pet oxygen mask to fire dept after dog nearly dies in house fire

HARRISON, Tenn. — After a dog almost died in a house fire in Harrison, a good Samaritan decided to donate a oxygen mask for pets to the Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department.

“I got a weird call from one of my neighbors. They told me my house was on fire, and someone called the police and that they could hear my dog barking out the window, but they hadn’t made it there yet with the fire department.”

Jasmine Brooks almost lost her dog Tino when her home went up in flames last Wednesday.

While the damage to her home was devastating, Brooks says she’s just glad her dog is alive…
