This two-year-old Labrador Retriever/Redbone Coonhound mix has already stolen the hearts of volunteers at Furkids, and it’s not hard to see why.
A Ball-Chasing Goofball with a Heart of Gold
Lucky’s life so far hasn’t always been easy, but you’d never guess it from the way he throws himself into playtime. At 53 pounds, he’s the perfect “medium big”—solid enough for hugs, light enough to zoom around the yard in full happy-dog mode. Tennis balls are his absolute favorite, and he’ll race after them with the joy of a pup discovering the world for the first time. Afterwards, he loves to flop down in the grass and lounge with a good stick, taking in the sunshine.
