CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — An elementary school in Hixson just got $2 million to build a new multipurpose gym.
For years, McConnell Elementary has been without a dedicated space for indoor physical education and other activities such as performances or schoolwide gatherings, according to a release from Hamilton County Government.
