Watch: Hamilton County deputy’s quick thinking saves man who crashed car into pond

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Body camera footage shows that a Hamilton County deputy’s quick thinking saved a man who overdosed and crashed his car into pond.

On July 12th, the sheriff’s office says Deputy Greg Buck observed a vehicle leave the roadway at 3298 Wilcox Boulevard and crash through a fence, entering a nearby retention pond.

Deputy Buck immediately called for assistance, and additional deputies responded to the scene.

Deputies worked together to extract the driver from the vehicle.
