CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — A ‘scrappy’ orange cat in Chattanooga was in the right place at the right time. He’s now been hired as a Tennessee trooper’s new sidekick.
That cat caught the eye of Trooper Leigha Jones of the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), who was on patrol in the summer heat this week.
Temperatures in the Chattanooga area have been particularly tough lately, with highs in the 90s and the heat index near 100.
