CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — A public charter school in Chattanooga will begin the school year under probation status, as the Hamilton County reviews materials to see if that will change.
Hamilton County Schools put Chattanooga Preparatory School on probation back in April, saying that close to half of their teachers didn’t have verified licenses, which put the credits of graduating seniors in question.
That happened after our investigation uncovered those licenses in question.
Chatt Prep had until July 18th to verify with the county that all courses for students in grades 6 through 11 were taught and assessed following state standards…
