Authorities have identified the man who drowned Saturday afternoon in the Chickamauga Reservoir as 51-year-old Randall Bradley of Rock Spring.
According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), the incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. near Dogwood Drive. Witnesses told investigators that Bradley entered the water to retrieve a piece of a swim platform that had come loose from a moving boat. He was not wearing a life jacket and did not resurface.
Search teams from TWRA and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office used sonar equipment and a remotely operated vehicle to locate Bradley’s body. He was recovered around 8:30 p.m. in roughly 15 to 18 feet of water…
