Chattanooga Police Department joins Red Sand Project to raise trafficking awareness

Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Police Department’s Special Victims Unit participated in the national Red Sand Project alongside the Family Justice Center and other local partners, highlighting their continued efforts to bring attention to human trafficking.

Held annually in communities across the nation, the event involves filling sidewalk cracks with red sand to symbolize that no victim should “fall through the cracks.”
