Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- A new thrift store is coming to East Ridge, offering more than just affordable clothes and household items. The store aims to provide support and hope to women and children struggling with homelessness.
Chattanooga Room in the Inn, a nonprofit dedicated to helping homeless women and children, is preparing to open the shop at 3807 Ringgold Road. While the store is still being set up, donations are already being accepted.
Starting this week, the public can bring items like clothes, shoes, and home goods from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Beginning next week, donation hours will expand to Tuesday through Saturday during the same timeframe…
