Tennessee Flash Flood Map Shows Which Cities Could Get Hit Hardest

Hundreds of thousands of Tennessee residents were under a flood watch on Wednesday as National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists warned that heavy rains would continue to pummel the state.

The NWS posted a map of the U.S. on Facebook on Tuesday night showing that Eastern Tennessee, as well as parts of North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and South Carolina, could see heavy rain and possible flash floods on Wednesday.
