Pilot killed in plane crash in southern Arkansas

A Tennessee man was killed when his single-engine plane crashed late Monday in a wooded area of southern Arkansas, authorities said.

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report around 9:30 Monday evening of a possible downed aircraft about two miles south of Bradley near Arkansas Highway 29. Bradley is in Lafayette County, near the Louisiana border.
