CLEVELAND, Tenn. — A two-year-old boy and his mother are okay after an officer with the Cleveland Police Department (CPD) saved them from drowning.
A May 2025 video from the department shows Officer Jordan Martin as he goes into a creek to rescue the pair.
According to the department, Martin managed to get to the boy first and then handed him to a deputy with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
That deputy then passed the boy — conscious and crying — off to Officer Schwarzer who was able to provide translation services, which allowed officials to gather critical information…
