Signal Mountain residents ask for Plan Hamilton amendments due to density worries

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. — The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission approved the latest version of ‘Plan Hamilton’ Monday.

The plan has faced significant criticism, with it only passing by a small margin through the county commission.

Chief among those worried about the plan are Signal Mountain officials and residents who say a “one size fits all” density will not work for them.
