Chattanooga memorial stair climb honors 9/11 heroes at AT&T Field Saturday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — As the nation marks 24 years since the September 11th terrorist attacks, the annual Chattanooga Memorial Stair Climb will take place Saturday morning at AT&T Field. The event honors the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice on that tragic day.

Participants are invited to climb 110 flights, to represent the number of stories in the World Trade Center towers. Those who are unable to climb are welcome to participate in the 3.43 mile walk around the infield, which honors the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11.

All participants will carry a fallen firefighter’s photo to honor their memory…
