CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Students’ plans to register a Turning Point USA chapter at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga are on hold, at least for now, after the school’s Student Government Association voted against the proposal.
According to a Jay Blackman, Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing at UTC, the proposal will now make its way to the Dean of Students who holds final authority on whether to approve the registration or not.
