In a recent post to their Facebook page, the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to clear some confusion over recent text messages being received by some in the area.
The messages and calls appear to show offender release information, often used for victims or others who wish to know the status of an inmate and their state of incarceration.
The Sheriff’s Office says the texts and calls are not related to any inmates incarcerated at the Sequatchie County Jail, and to their knowledge are instead Cumberland County inmates and they’re not sure how the mix-up has happened…
