Ridgeland High teacher reprimanded for texting with GA student in 2017 before TN claims

WALKER COUNTY, Ga. — We are uncovering new details about a teacher in Walker County who faced allegations of sending excessive or inappropriate messages to students while teaching in multiple states and counties.

A reprimand from Georgia that we just received from 2017 shows Nathan Dawson was cited for exchanging more than 60 text messages with a Whitfield County student in just one hour while he taught there.
