Chattanooga Airport to open new aviation-themed park with observation deck by late 2026

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Chattanooga Airport will be home to a brand new aviation-themed public park next year.

That’s after Chattanooga city council approved an ordinance rezoning Lovell Field Loop as an “open space zone,” allowing for the construction of this park.

The airport received a $1.2 million BlueCross Healthy Place Grant to help build the new park.
