2 Hamilton County deputies awarded for saving a man’s life

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — 2 Hamilton County deputies have been awarded for saving a man’s life, according to the sheriff’s office.

On Thursday, Sheriff Austin Garrett awarded the Sheriff’s Life-Saving Medal to Deputies Teddy Dyer and Jonathan Mueller for their efforts to save a man’s life during a medical emergency on April 10th.

That day, while on patrol, Deputy Dyer observed a stopped vehicle on Highway 58 with two men standing outside.
