CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A Chattanooga nonprofit say they’re concerned that the historic Engel Stadium is in danger of being demolished and replaced.
Back in March, UTC announced that the Steiner family had committed to a seven-figure contribution to build a women’s athletics complex.
According to the release…
“The Steiner family gift is the foundational contribution to an ongoing fundraising effort for the new women’s athletic complex to be located at the current UTC Sports Complex and Engel Stadium site.”…
