Food City held a grand opening Oct. 22 for a new 54,000-square-foot store on Highway 58 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The supermarket serves as a replacement for its predecessor, which was shuttered earlier this year to make way for its construction.
“We appreciate the support the residents of Chattanooga and Hamilton County have shown our company, and we’re excited to provide our loyal customers with a new state-of-the-art Food City to better serve their needs,” said Steven C. Smith, Food City president and CEO.
The location is equipped with a number of services, including an in-store bakery and deli, complete with a hot food bar, large café seating area, fireplace, Asian wok, fresh food bar offering a variety of soup, salad and fruit selections, pizza oven and fresh sushi…
